Updated: Mar 18

J.Ellis Football hosted a brilliant night of fixtures at our monthly match night!

Our youngest team faced up against our partner club, Lymington Town Sprites, whilst our oldest team welcomed Elite Star Football.

Lymington had Friday Night Footballer’s Jake C, Mia A & Alby W in their red & white stripes, whilst our teams were in our (amazing) light blue shirts… maybe we’re biased! A very competitive four blocks took place, with both teams showing excellent attributes.

There was some top saves from both keepers, with all outfield players within Lymington & J.Ellis demonstrating different elements of our six-part philosophy. Led brilliantly by Amy - Lymington were, as expected, a credit to their club and grassroots football as a whole.

We thank them for coming down and no doubt will be lining up another match against them very soon!

The second match of the evening was against local organisation Elite Star Football. This match was certainly ‘one for the neutral’ - with an incredible amount of goals scored! Giving our squad different challenges throughout, such as playing with less players & building through our stand-in goalkeeper Tyler, it was a productive night for the development of our participants.

Player of the match awards were also given out. James presented last months match awards against New Milton Town Robins - congratulations to Mia & Solomon for this!

For these matches, Dylan picked up the award for a brilliant defensive display against Lymington, whilst hattrick-hero Jimmy won the award for the match with Elite Star Football.

In attendance was our newly appointed media manager, as well as our photography partner. We really do have some brilliant content to share with you all soon (look out for our ‘olders’ with their ‘unique’ celebrations to camera) - we can’t wait to show everyone!

So, with that, we have now had two match nights and a third rapidly approaching! We’re next in action on April 11th, so if you’re a local team wanting to come and experience a J.Ellis Football match night - then get in touch!
